How to Change Default Browser

If you install any new browser chance are that you get a dialog box saying “**** is not currently set as your default browser. Would you like to make it your default browser?”. You clicked either ‘yes’ or ‘no’ and the problem starts.

Basically you have fully setup browser which you use for most of your work ,but then this other browser starts interfering in every single URL you click .

 

To change firefox to default browser follow the below steps:

1). Go to ‘options‘ menu .

2). Click on ‘advanced ‘ section.

3). In ‘general’ tab ,look at the ‘system defaults‘ section.

4). Click on ‘check now’ button and click on ‘yes’.


To change Google chrome to default browser follow the below steps:

1). Click on    icon in chrome.

2). Click on ‘settings’ option.

3). Click on ‘Make Google Chrome my default browser’.

1). click on ‘Opera’ icon on top left page.

2). Go to “Settings” >> ‘Perferences’ .

 

3). Click on ‘Advanced tab’,then on ‘programs section’

4). Check the check-box which says ‘Check if opera is default browser on startup’.

5). The next time when you start the opera you will have option to choose opera as default.

6). Click on ‘yes’.
